How does it work?
The Single Actor is without a doubt the simplest door operator on today’s market in our opinion. It is operated in the following fashion. 1) A person depresses the button on the remote control 2) The solenoid that turns the air on allows the air to enter the system 3) Immediately after depressing the remote the latch release will protrude of which will release the latch that is holding the door closed. 4) A split second later the door will then open and remain open until you depress the remote a second time turning the air off. 5) At this point the air bleeds and the mechanical door closure will then close the door. 6) Once closed if the lock is set on the door knob assembly the door will then be closed and locked again. 7) At this point if a person has a key they can then open and close the door as they always have before the door was automated.

This is everything you need to automate your door except the labor and any cosmetic materials you may desire such as wire mold to hide the airlines.

You furnish your own air compressor, labor and cosmetic materials. It does not include the assist cylinder to break magnetic weather stripping or the compressor

For those not familiar with what are known as Door Openers, Door Operators, Automatic Doors, Door Assist and or Power Door Operators even the slang term of open sesame (actually a competitor). These terms are in a nutshell all the same except for in the wording of a sentence in my opinion.
